Chak De - A cry of its own
*****
Must See :-)
I recollected Hoosiers 1986....but Chak De has a cry of its own. Repeating themes/remakes are unavoidable but its a pleasure to see a "cry" of its own. Its like painters kept on painting portraits but each one of them had its own brush of life. It looks like we have almost exhausted all our themes and few left will be discovered as the society shows itself up. But if people stick to their cries, themes will get richer with variety! Its quite a waste of time to copy a storyline though it sells but seeing it again is a good exercise.
Listen to the cry....newer social messages are taking this interesting form if well said
Lately I watched "Bheja Fry" ....well made but copied....again still managed a cry of its own! :-)
