From a long drive

The drive was worth it! My fiat drove without any hassle for over 2000 kms. I saw the great landscapes of my state. We are just plain lucky to be in this part of the world!. I could see clearly how the wind carrying rains from the southwest travels from the sea, enters the coast, climbs the cliff (ghats), waters the forests and later gets weaker loosing all the water in it making the plains hot and dry. One drive of this stretch is good to get a glimpse of this amazing wind called the monsoon. This terrain has made people pocket themselves into thousand villages each of them speaking their own dialect!.
I saw people seem busy in their work especially women. Most men just hung around with their lives!. Women dedicated to raise their children, children free and playful all around the villages. Towns seemed junky with lot of steel, wires and dirty billboards and a bit congested. Cities looked more organized but very crowded with no space for people to even think rightly! Temples were booming with either people showing their faith or people cheating on money. I could see people complicating life by involving in various schemes and enterprises!
I could see my family magically and crazily bonded with complicated temperaments and obligations! I sensed the framework of our connections and its fragile or sometimes very strong relationships. I saw people silent and some talking without any hesitation. I saw the mobile phones as jazzy companions! I was looking out for someone with glow or halo on their head, i dint find any! you know like vivekanada or someone.
Overall most of us are trying live in our own contexts and reality! Very few are hanging around romantically :-)

This is such a typical Kiran post...loved it. I am glad you got to see a slice of 'life' as we know it.
