Processed or Natural!

Biggest question of our times! Well answer is simple, processed of course! We are deeply conditioned over 2000 years! Its going to be very hard to unite with natural. With the help of language we process the mind, with the help of our senses and our internal energy it is still very hard or even impossible to deal with the natural. Mind will not lead the way! Senses, energy will eventually will......our door to survive the disaster of processed world! Do we have any examples of any society which dealt with nature inclusively? Yeps, all the tribes of the world were extraordinary communities co existing with nature! Early vedic communities with Brindavans and Ashrams were quite matured to deal with nature. Modern thinking do not seem to match up at all! Science and technology nor modern economics will not lead us towards a hope of "co-existence". Wiser to look within ourselves than look out for answers? :-)

Restless mind ....... stop, get still Let me feel my heart, and my self You are a great instrument You help me reason and survive You help me create and connect Will you stop now ? I have had enough I want to live for a while The touch of warm cloth, pleasant sun The sounds of children playing, birds behind The silence around, and the flowering of a big feeling of happiness I wont be able feel to any of these, if i am enslaved by you Restless mind ....... stop, get still Let me feel my heart, and my self You are quick as a quiver Cutting across any tiny feeling Quite deep feelings are sensitive Do not rush which such precision and speed I want to feel quite for a while The beauty of of the dark night, The comfort of your beloved who sits next to you No talks, no plans, no thoughts Sitting inside your own Mantapa* Restless mind ....... stop, get still Let me feel my heart, and my self Translated - La na Ra *Vestibule of a temple

"A river flows from its birthplace to the sea. All along, it collects qualities of the earth and giving the earth some of its own qualities - forever changing. It is the same with qualities of humanity. They keep changing in every generation. One can not keep count or track of how the changes happen." - Mankutimma

BR hills! got me thinking

A nice weekend drive to B R Hills, deep into the beautiful forests simply got me thinking. It made me wonder how mankind has tried experiencing, learn, live, exploit nature - a mysterious biological system which we have no clue of or will we ever have! I had very few choices - either i had to dig the inferences of hundreds of people and their studies to know what it is, possibly to see how little they have discovered. Or i had to dive into some poets lively imaginations to feel some beauty of his words, plain pleasure. Or i could talk to people of the forest, see how they lived, what they felt and get some stories of their livelihood. Or simply rely on what little i feel. I stopped worrying and simply looked at my little son enjoying all the green around :-). Nature, i guess, it has its own purpose, mechanism of existence which we do not know deeply. It is designed to satisfy a larger need beyond the comprehension of 'man'. Hence nature cannot be investigated keeping man i
