The weight of an idea
Ideas reach people after it has successfully shown some commercial success. Ideas do not promise happiness. They seem to satisfy needs and desires. To make this idea reach people we have created systems which have operations. Management fuel the operations, theories of management can make make management more efficient i.e operations more efficient. In the process collectively people earn by making profits to satisfy other needs. If you are not self sufficient, you depend on others to fulfill your needs and desires. Recently issues relating to environment and healthcare....mostly all the issues are being operated in the form of "ideas" from fuel cells to cancer treatments. Even here ideas are not different from other ideas...i.e it should be commercially viable to operate in a social system. One should be able to afford these ideas.
Ideas are different from services which are more or less business like continuous supply to demand. Innovations are like instrumental modifications of system to change the pace to create vibrancy to create profit. Emotional meaningful social connections are not an agenda of capitalistic forces. Its ends are to meet the needs and desires in a democratic running systems and open economy. Idea shines with commercial success and popularity. Economic proposals are ideas to society, they don't promise happiness. They promise satisfying needs and desires. Ideas are tagged with cost just like services. If one finds need he buys the idea or if one finds beneficial he buys. With needs and desires one can also fulfil his benefits with ideas. The systems promises jobs of service and with sole aim of generating capital to a place not of individual growth.
To make your life comfortable,exciting,delighting,interesting,being happy is your problem and not the problem of state or organisation. One start from learning to live. My life is what I want out of it.
Ideas usually turn into systems, into organisations, into products and services. They have a visible form of objects and systems. We have a 20% increase in employment with still 75% of our people living in the category of poor and vulnerable i.e with daily income of 9-20 rs /day. This is the visibility of our social system in numbers. It is good that happiness has nothing to do with ideas! It operates on the individual basis. Ideas and life are independent though ideas participate occasionally.
God is a fairly successful idea who has influenced an individual as well as a family. Religion with focus on faith and belief created a beneficial activity in mans life like a set of doing things which is a visible influence on mans idea of life. Religious ideas at least engaged man emotionally, intellectually and socially. If it gets rejected in next century may be meanings of life will either get new meanings or aspire for the old ones. With faiths and beliefs increasing (40% increase in religious tourism) God has proved a commercial success....again a favorable capitalistic idea, hence will exist.
