Casino Royale

I payed 300 rs for 2 tickets to watch the mean bond performing his antics. The bloody violence, beautiful landscapes and boring conversations somehow confused me to value the real worth of the ticket! Dusty traffic greeted as we decided to walk uphill home. It was difficult for me to understand what people liked about the movie. The images however seemed a part of daily ritual of life, something we seem to relate and understand quite unassumingly. Violence, murders, conflicting arguements, love seem to happen all around. Its nothing new or exciting. Papers, social stories and TV continiously show us the world. A big eventful movie seem to me simply an insert of the same desperate theme of life.

Guess what...I just saw "Die Another Day' tonight on TV.
Regret to say, that it was perhaps the worst Bond movie ever made...would go on to say that it may be among the worst 'good' movies ever made!
I have had immense respect and admiration for Pierce Brosnan as an actor. I think the director of the movie has to be really rapped for this.
Anyway in comparison, Casion Royale is really a breather and tries to start again with a clean slate, but has its pitfalls.

One other observation, perhaps it is the only Bond movie with the title graphics / credits based around a male character...that too Bond himself, as normally it would feature women!!
